Tour Overview

This tour takes you through the hidden gems in the heart of Accra, which includes independence square, which was commissioned by Kwame Nkrumah in the year 1961.
A visit to Asomdwe park, a peaceful area to remember this much respected President of Ghana Professor Atta Mills (1944-2012). It is a serene environment and home to many exotic animals, such as ostriches, and lots of species of fish. A tour of the Arts Centre is where you will witness diverse cultural crafts like clothes, artwork, handmade souvenirs from Ghana and so much more. We then proceed to have our African Drumming and Dancing lesson at the Arts and Crafts Centre.

Our Day Itinerary

First Stop: We visit the Independence square where the annual independence celebrations as well as other national events are often hosted. It is currently the site for all civic and military parades in Ghana.

Second Stop: Then we head to the Asomdwe Park, a serene environment and home to many exotic animals, such as ostriches, and lots of species of fish. A peaceful area to remember the much respected President of Ghana Professor Atta Mills (1944-2012)

Third Stop: Our last stop for the day will be the Arts Centre is where you will witness diverse cultural crafts like clothes, artwork, handmade souvenirs from Ghana and so much more. We then proceed to have our African Drumming and Dancing lesson at the Arts and Crafts Centre.
